Hosting
This website is hosted by Framer B.V. (Amsterdam, Netherlands). When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data (such as IP address, date and time of access, browser type, and pages visited) in server log files. This processing is necessary to deliver the website reliably and securely and is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log data is not merged with other data sources. Framer may use sub-processors, including providers outside the EU/EEA; in such cases, data transfers are safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Details: framer.com/legal/privacy-statement.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies and does not employ tracking tools. Only technically necessary processing takes place.
Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, the data you provide (name, email address, message) will be processed solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). Form submissions are processed via the form service of our hosting provider Framer. Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Newsletter (project updates)
If you subscribe to our project updates, we process your email address to send you occasional information about the IDDQ project (milestones, publications, opportunities to contribute). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you give through a double opt-in procedure. Our newsletter is sent via Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany), which processes your data on our behalf within the EU. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email or by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
Research data
Participation in our research studies (such as the international Delphi study) takes place on separate, dedicated survey platforms and is governed by separate study information and consent procedures. No research data is collected through this website.
Changes to this policy
We will update this privacy policy as the website develops (for example, when new features are added) and indicate the date of the latest revision above.
